tai chi easy
Tai Chi Easy is a combination of Tai Chi and Qigong. Qigong, (chee-gong) translates to “energy practice” and is known as the ancient Chinese wellness and healing system. Tai Chi is a form of Qigong and incorporates more slow, fluid movements into the practice. Classes will have various combinations of deep breathing tied to slow flowing movements, meditation and self-massage. You’ll leave class with lower stress levels and improved range of motion, circulation and balance. The soothing, easy-to-follow exercises are for anyone looking to de-stress and improve their mindfulness. Classes are designed for beginners to join at any time.
In yoga nidra, you are lying down supported with props, pillows and blankets. The goal is to move into a deep state of conscious awareness sleep, which is a deeper state of relaxation with awareness. This state involves moving from consciousness while awake to dreaming and then to not-dreaming while remaining awake — going past the unconscious to the conscious.
Yoga nidra works with the autonomic nervous system. The autonomic nervous system regulates processes of the body that take place without a conscious effort (heartbeat, breathing, digestion and blood flow). This system also includes the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems.
In this deeper relaxation, the pineal gland is activated and that releases the hormone melatonin.”
Melatonin is a powerful antioxidant. It can also help manage immune function, blood pressure, cortisol levels and induce restful sleep.
Prenatal Yoga includes poses to strengthen and stretch the body, breathing techniques, relaxation, and meditation which will ALL prepare you for birth & after! Prenatal yoga is a great way to meet new mommies-to-be and create friendships and playdates that will last a lifetime! This class is great for ALL trimesters!
restore & meditate
In the Restore & Meditate class, you will experience a mix of restorative yoga and meditation. Restorative yoga creates space by relaxing the body with long holds with the support of props. In the meditation piece, we will focus on different ways to meditate along with breath work.

You must pre-register! If you need to cancel your registration, please do so at least 2 hours prior to class beginning. If you do not cancel your reservation within that time period, your class pass will be used or your card will be charged $10 if you have a membership or on your 30 days for $49. If you have trouble canceling your reservation please EMAIL US. Expired classes will NO longer be extended unless a package of the same or greater value is purchased.
